GETTING TO DALYAN:
Dalyan's nearest airport is in Dalaman, about 25 mins drive away from Villa Jasville. Many airlines including low cost airlines fly to Dalaman and direct flights are available from UK international and regional airports including Aberdeen, Belfast Intl, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Doncaster Sheffield, Edinburgh, Exeter, Gatwick, Glasgow, Humberside, Leeds Bradford, London Gatwick, London Luton, Manchester, Newcastle, Norwich, and Stansted. Try your local travel agent or websites such as, Thomas Cook, Monarch, Thomsonfly, First Choice, Jet2.com and Easyjet (they fly from Manchester, London Stansted and London Gatwick) or checkout the links below.
Easyjet started flying from Bristol to Dalaman on 16th July 2010. Check out their website for up to date prices and availability.
There are also regular Turkish Airlines flights to Dalaman from Istanbul, (flying time is approximately 1 hour), if you want to spend time there as well. Istanbul lies where two continents and two seas meet, and its main artery is the Bosphorus. Fine shoreline houses known as yalis grace its shores, while boat cruises and special ferry runs are a lovely way to enjoy the pleasures the Bosphorus has to offer.
Jet2.com will fly from East Midlands to Dalaman commencing until 27 September 2010, they will also fly to Dalaman from Newcastle until 29 October 2010. You can rent Villa Jasville and fly from Manchester airport with Jet2.com
UK passport holders travelling to Turkey are required to purchase a visa on arrival in Turkey. The charge is currently GBP 10.00 per person and must paid with Bank of England ten pound notes (change for larger notes will not be available). Scottish and Irish notes are not accepted.
